Yatton needed a design for an advert they were taking out in a newpaper. The problem was that they were so new they didn't even have a brand. Not a problem for The Design Tailor though.
If you have noticed us wearing trilbies and talking like New York press gangs it will have been because we were getting in to character for this.
Projects don't get bigger, more exciting and plain stressful as a newspaper... and we've just taken on 5. The Bristol News, Somerset Journal and three we can't talk about yet. Watch this space, 'we'll blow the story wide open!'
This is a concept we created for Prakash Brinicombe, to give him ideas for his new company Property Energy Assessment.

D-Face is used in courts of law to protect the identities of the innocent in video evidence. Serious stuff! However the makers,
Teknocraft, had the idea of using it in their new system
TubeWiz.
They wanted an iconic brand that would work over different levels and we did this with a cheeky grin!
To be honest we had an easy job with Fran Taylor. she wanted a
website and brand to promote her photography, but as soon as we saw her work we knew the work would sell itself.
So we create a simple minimalistic site and a subtle logo that wouldn't distract from Frans beautiful work.
TubeWiz is a fantastic user friendly video editor, designed with Youtube in mind. We have played a key part in this project, looking after the design of the interface as well as the branding and the
website.

Matt from Absolute Mac asked for a simple logo that would be in keeping with a company that sells such well designed computers.
Zoovara is new kind of property consultancy, designed to guide people effortlessly through the maze of buying, selling and developing property. We created a brand that would feel friendly, approachable and fun yet still professional. They are also concerned for the environment and asked that this could be portrayed as well.

Four20 is a fabulous new restaurant that will be opening in Redfield early next year. We will be working closely with them to ensure that the aesthetics will be as good as the food.
We’ve been working hard on the branding, now we can’t wait to get our teeth in to the rest!

We've already started working with a software company in London to produce the artwork for their software interfaces.
Starting up in business can be a minefield. Document Tower help new businesses get through the process with a clear plan of action. As any good business person knows brand is king. That is why the good people from Document Tower turned to us.
Though an incredible photographer, Carl Newland of White Box isn't a graphic designer. After many failed attempts to create his own corporate image he turned to The Design Tailor to help him out. The logo had to be modern, professional and able to fit in with their future enterprises including White Box Studio and an art gallery. "Dan and I worked very closely to create an identity to be proud of" says Carl, "I'm glad I chose to use a professional agency because The Design Tailor made the process extremely easy and painless."
Designing a brand for the Life Touch Clinic was a difficult one. The owner, Matthew said he really wanted to include a triangle with each side being yellow, blue and magenta. This has a spiritual, symbolic meaning so we did our best and Matt was very happy with the results. Apparently he now gives out one of our business cards with every one of his!
The brief for this logo was to create a logo to be printed on a range of souvenirs. It was to include a famous landmark and possible to produce in many colours. Job done! You can buy these items and many more on-line at the store.
Rick from Creative Cogs has been running his web development and IT support company for a couple of years without a brand! He asked us to help him and we came up with some ideas. Was he pleased? Well, we now do all Creative Cogs website design - so, yes!
Circles have recently featured in a BBC Three documentary following business owners as they try to turn their business around and make them more profitable. The expert rightly pointed out that a good brand would help a great deal. The Design Tailor were called in and we came up with a new look and a new website.
Perran Properties is a property development company who approached us for their corporate identity. Named after St. Perran (or Perrin), a religious twist was appropriate. The logo was decided on as it symbolized the ethics and style of the organization and was inspired by the Saints icon. The spade in particular seemed fitting.
When you sell beautiful things you need a beautiful logo. Trigaci sell many beautiful things so they knew that The Design Tailor would be the people to turn to for their corporate identity. They needed a logo that could fit along side many different styles of jewellery and not look out of place.
Joss from Virision is a very talented photographer and wanted a brand that he could use to show this to other people. He explained that the name was a combination of 'vision' and 'iris' and asked us to create a logo that grabbed your attention and made it easy to see what the company does.
